DURRGE of Cerberderp

I'm playing this game now:

He wouldn't stop staring... My bullets went right through him...
I've heard nothing but terrible things about this game, but as an avid fan of the Final Fantasy VII series, I'm having fun with it. The story is kind of HURRDURR, but I'm not terribly far in yet, so who knows what will happen.
Although
"Azul the Cerulean"
"Blue the Blue"
Real clever names guys.

Anyway, apparently, they're thinking about putting the Before Crisis cell phone game on the Nintendo 3DS. Imagine that, Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Final Fantasy VII all on one console. Fucking glorious.

Anyway, if you've played DoC, how did you like it? I'll say its been worth the 5 dollars I paid for it so far, but I'd like to hear you guys' opinions.
Alright, check ya later dudes.

OoT Red Tunic, Part 1

First of all, I got my gold chocobo!  :D
Iddn't he cute? :3

Second of all, here is the first installment of the "How to Make Your Own Link Tunic" guide. Now, I'm certainly no expert seamstress, so I will probably make some mistakes, (in fact, I did) but I just improvised. That being said, let's begin.

In Part 1, I will be covering the basic tunic shape, leaving the sleeves, collar, and finishing up the seams and whatnot for next time.
What you will need to make the base of the tunic is shown here:

Namely, a few yards of red material (I had a little over three yards), scissors, red thread, needles, (or if you're feeling lazy, a hot glue gun.)

First of all, you're going to want to take your measurements. You don't want to accidentally make your tunic too small or too big. What I did was I laid out sufficient material and folded it in half, like this:

If you do this, it eliminates the need to sew up the right side.
Next, I measured the circumference of my arm, near my armpit and cut about 2 inches into the main part of the tunic like so:

This is where the sleeves will be eventually. I might end up cutting deeper into the actual tunic, depending on how everything fits.
Next, I measured the length from my collarbone to the desired length of the tunic.

For me, I cut it just above my knees, but I might go longer or shorter, depending on how it looks when it is worn. Choose a length that makes you feel comfortable, but also is accurate to the real Link.

Next, seal up the open side of your tunic. For me, it was the left side. Also, I glued it because I was feeling very lazy. It's probably a good idea to needle-n-thread it if you can, but in my experience, hot glue holds together really well.

And that concludes part one. If I wasn't specific enough about something or if you have any questions, please let me know! Part 2 will probably be up tomorrow, but if not, it'll definitely be up by Thursday.

Chocobreeding

I am hunting chocobos.

Having a capture device rules.

How do you guys feel about Final Fantasy VII?

Edit:

I got the Great Male chocobo, going to race them now!

Supplies

Well, i went shopping over the weekend for supplies to make my Red Tunic OoT Link costume for Halloween.
It's probably not going to be very detailed or accurate, but I'm just going to be walking around campus goofing off, I ain't gotta impress NOBODY.

Anyway, here's what I have, (the prices for these items are estimates from my memory, some might be more, some might be less, but I figure the total is about accurate) :

4 yards of Red material for the tunic and hat ($16)
1 yard of Brown material for the gauntlets and belts/straps ($8)
1 White turtle neck ($7)
1 pair of semi-opaque white hose ($5)
1 pair of delicious brown boots ($20)
1 blond wig (lolbruno) ($15)
Red and Brown thread ($2 each)
Sewing needles ($3)
Hot Glue gun ($3)
Hot Glue Sticks ($2)
Total: $83

aaaaand I think that's it.
I still need to buy ELF EARZ, but I'm not sure if I will or not because the wig looks the most natural when its covering my ears, so applying latex elf ears would make it rather difficult.

Here's what I have, all laid out nice on my BED:

I will be publishing a step-by-step guide on how to make your very own Link Tunic once I start to work on it, so be looking forward to that in the near future~

Fuck studying

I just want to play video games.
All the time and every day.

But seriously, fuck school. Thinking and reading and studying is too hard and I am too lazy.
But I have nothing else to do...

Boobz

The Link tunic I made when I was 14 officially doesn't fit anymore.
Today is a very sad day.
Let's take a moment to lament this loss.

It's sort of wrinkly....

Ifrit Redstar Fire Volcano

Today, I got a new ocarina. It's a plastic triple from stlocarina.com
It was cheap, but it also has a pretty nice tone for the price I paid. Not to mention three full octaves!
At any rate, give me some suggestions for songs to learn, because I can't think of any.
I think I may play some megaman, but I'm still getting used to the other chambers and switching between them, and megaman music tends to be in weird keys.
Also Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, but all suggestions are welcome.

Also here's a picture of it:

Isn't it lovely?

BlazBlue

I love updating my PS3. I hate playing video games on it.

POOP

I poop; therefore, I am.
